Netflix renews Never Have I Ever for season 3
Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and her ongoing love triangle will return.
Coming-of-age comedy Never Have I Ever will return for a third season, Netflix has confirmed.
This news comes a little over a month after its second premiered on 15th July to a hugely positive reception from fans and critics alike.
Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the show follows Indian-American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) throughout high-school as she attempts to improve her popularity, navigate a complicated love triangle and deal with her grief over the death of her father.
Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, Poorna Jagannathan, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young and Niecy Nash also star.
All of these cast members are expected to return for this upcoming third season which doesn’t currently have a release date.
Nothing’s been confirmed in regards to the plot of season 3 but during a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Fisher confirmed that the love triangle between Devi, Ben (Lewison) and Paxton (Barnet) “will be significant for the run of the show.”
"We are so grateful to Netflix and Universal Television for letting us continue to tell this story, and to the fans around the world who clamored to see more of this badly behaved Indian teenager," said Kaling and Fisher in a joint statement.
You can stream both seasons of Never Have I Ever on Netflix now.
