HBO releases first trailer for Euphoria season 2
It's set to premiere on Monday 10th January 2022 on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
HBO has released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of Euphoria.
The clip promises plenty more dark drama for 17-year-old addict Rue (Zendaya) who despite returning to a support meeting at the start of the clip, is back doing drugs and getting into dealing alongside friend Fezco (Angus Cloud).
She’s also seen pining after ex-girlfriend Jules (Hunter Schafter) who seems to have a new boyfriend and again viciously arguing with her mum Nina (Nika King).
While other returning cast members including Nate (Jacob Elordi), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and Maddy (Alexa Demie) are glimpsed in this trailer, it’s not immediately clear what they’ll be up to.
Also set to join the cast for this upcoming season is Dominic Fike, Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly and Demetrius Flenory Jr.
The show was originally set to begin filming in March 2020 but was delayed until the summer due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The first episode of Euphoria season 2 will premiere on both Sky Atlantic and NOW on Monday 10th January 2022. All ten were once again written and directed by its creator Sam Levinson.
The entire first season is available to stream with the NOW Entertainment Membership.
